Duxford
Duxford is a village about 15 km south-east of Cambridge in the East Anglia region of England. Here, the Imperial War Museum Duxford is with, among others, the "Big Wing" by Douglas Bader and a Royal Air Force airfield.
St. John 's Church
One of the two churches in the village is the St. John 's Church, which is owned by the British Churches Conservation Trust. It was built in 1100 and expanded over the centuries. So come nave and tower of the 12th century, the apse from the 13th century, the north chapel from the 14th century and in North aisle and the south entrance of the 15th century. Beginning of the 21st century Christian wall paintings were discovered in the 12th century.
