Düzce Province
Düzce is a Turkish province on the western Black Sea. Its capital is the city of Düzce. It is Turkey's youngest province, was established after the devastating earthquake of August 17 and November 12, 1999 on 9 December 1999 as 81st province.
The province has 323 328 inhabitants ( 2007 census ) in an area of 1,065 km ². It borders the provinces of Bolu, Sakarya and Zonguldak.
The population density is 303.59 inhabitants / km ².

The population of Düzce consists mostly of Turks, but there are Laz, Georgians, Circassians, Abkhazians, Kurds, Manav - turks.
