Dvir Benedek

Dvir Benedek (Hebrew דביר בנדק; born December 29, 1969 in Kiryat Yam, Israel) is an Israeli actor.

Life

Dvir Benedek was born in Kiryat Yam and grew up there, where he lived most of the time in a refugee camp. During the first Intifada he spent his time at the Nahal in the Gaza Strip. Then he traveled around the world before he began studying acting at the University of Tel Aviv, where he graduated in 1997. 1999 debuted Benedek in Isaac Zepel Yeshuruns Drama Zman Avir on the side of Dana Ivgy, Moshe Ivgy and Jenya Dodina, and Dror Shaul Fernehkomödie Mivtza Savta on the side of Rami Heuberger and Rosina Kambus on the canvas. For the representation of Aaron in the sports comedy A Matter of Size Benedek was nominated at the 2009 ceremony of the Israeli Film Awards Ophir Award 2009 for Best Supporting Actor.
