Dwight Thomas

Dwight Thomas (born 23 September 1980 in Kingston) is a Jamaican sprinter and hurdler.

At the Olympic Games in Sydney in 2000, he launched more than 200 m, but different in the quarterfinals of. About 100 meters he reached the semi-finals at the World Athletics Championships in 2003 and at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens.

The following year he was at the World Championships in Helsinki fifth over 100m. At the Olympic Games in Beijing in 2008 he was employed in the flow in the Jamaican 4 x 100 meters relay, but replaced in the final by Usain Bolt, the Jamaican won the relay gold.

In 2009 he moved to the 110- meter hurdles and was in this discipline seventh at the World Championships in Berlin. Again, it was used in the flow in the later victorious Jamaican 4 x 100 m relay.

At the World Athletics Championships 2011 in Daegu, he reached the 110- meter hurdles final, but came there in a hurdle and did not finish the race.
