Dylan Minnette

Dylan Minnette ( born December 29, 1996 Evansville, Indiana as Dylan Christopher Minnette ) is an American actor and musician. He is best known for his role as Norman in the Clay series Saving Grace (2007-2010).

Life and career

Dylan Minnette was born in December 1996 in Evansville, Indiana and moved a short time later to Champaign, Illinois. To further his acting, he later moved to Los Angeles. His first roles he had in 2005 as a guest performer in the television series Drake & Josh and Two and a Half Men from 2005 to 2006, he was seen as a young version of embodied Wentworth Miller figure of Michael Scofield in the action series Prison Break. 2006 and 2008 he took over in the two TV movies The Santa Claus on strike and Snow Buddies - Adventures in Alaska supporting roles.

His breakthrough came when Clay Norman in the TNT crime drama Saving Grace, which he held in 40 episodes from 2006 to 2010. For this role he was the award in the category at the Young Artist Awards 2008 Best Actor in a TV Series - win a decade or younger. In 2008, he played a guest role in The Mentalist and was also in the direct-to- video film The glamor clique - Cinderella's Revenge, the film adaptation of the first volume of the book series The Glamour Clique by Lisi Harrison, as Claire Lyons ' (Ellen Marlow ) younger brother Todd to see. After a year break he took over in 2010 in the horror drama Let Me In - the U.S. remake of the Swedish original Let the Right One - Kodi Smit- McPhee alongside Chloë Moretz and the supporting role of Fieslings Kenny. In the same year he was a guest performer on the show Medium - Nothing is hidden and in a supporting role as Jack Shephard ( Matthew Fox) son in Lost to see. For these three appearances, he was nominated in four categories at the Young Artist Awards 2011, which he but only the price as Best Guest Actor in a Television Series - won 14 to 17 years for his guest role on medium.

His second series starring role he played in the 2012 NBC series Awake, the son of the main character Michael Britten (played by Jason Isaacs ). However, the series was only one season with 13 episodes. Since then, he was also in guest roles in television series like Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Major Crimes, Nikita (all three 2012) and Save Me (2013 ) present. In Denis Villeneuve's thriller Prisoners in 2013, he portrayed Ralph Dover, the son of Hugh Jackman's character.

Aside from acting, he is also a member of the band The Feaver, which still exists next to Minnette from Zack Mendenhall, Cole Preston and Braeden Lemasters. The band won in 2010 sponsored by the California radio station KYSR Battle of the Bands and were then among other things on the Warped Tour in 2011 and in the nightclubs The Roxy and Whisky a Go Go.
