Dylan Reese

Dylan Reese ( born August 29, 1984 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) is an American professional ice hockey player who is since June 2013 at the Amur Khabarovsk in the Kontinental Hockey League contract.

Career

Dylan Reese began his career as a hockey player in the Junior League North American Hockey League in which he was active for Texas Tornado and Pittsburgh Forge from 2000 to 2003. He was then selected in the NHL Entry Draft in the seventh round in 2003 when a total of 209 players from the New York Rangers. First, however, he attended four years at Harvard University, for their hockey team he played in parallel in the ECAC Hockey. With his team he won the 2004 and 2006 the championship of the ECAC Hockey. Towards the end of the 2006/07 season was the defender for the farm team of the Rangers, the Hartford Wolf Pack, made his debut in professional hockey when he was in a total of twelve games prepared four goals in the American Hockey League. He spent the following two years in the AHL with the San Antonio Rampage.

In September 2009, Reese signed a contract as a free agent with the Columbus Blue Jackets, but came anschließlend exclusively on their AHL farm team Syracuse Crunch for use before he was released in March 2010 in exchange for Greg Moore to the New York Islanders, for the he made his debut in the National Hockey League announced at the end of the 2009/10 season, when he scored two goals each and two assists in 19 games. In parallel, he also ran on for their AHL farm team Bridgeport Sound Tigers. In the following two years, the Americans played in parallel for the New York Islanders in the NHL and the Bridgeport Sound Tigers in the AHL.

In July 2012, Reese was taken as a free agent by the Pittsburgh Penguins under contract. A year later he signed a contract with Amur Khabarovsk of the Kontinental Hockey League.
