The Dynjandi [' tɪnjantɪ ] (or Fjallfoss ), a waterfall of the small river Dynjandisá, is the largest of its kind in the West Fjords in northwestern Iceland.
Name
Icelandic " Dynjandi " is German for " the Roaring, Raging ".
Most important data
He fanned 100 m high and wide. In summer rush 2-8 m³ / s in depth, and in the winter about half. The waterfall has a top width of 30 m, whereas below 60 m. Since 1981, the waterfall and its surroundings are protected.

Transport and Tourism
The Dynjandi is very secluded, not far from the road 60 and is about 73 km from Patreksfjörður.
This area of the country is touristy hardly developed.
