Dyrlægens natmad

Dyrlægens natmad (Eng. " supper of the veterinarian " ) is the Danish name for a smørrebrød with a special selection of meats.

The simplest form of Dyrlægens natmad consists of a disc Rugbrød, smeared with butter or fat. Next, a layer of foie gras and corned beef is added. Finally, a slice of aspic and red onion rings are draped.
