Dysesthesia

Dysesthesia (Greek ) is the medical term for a sensation disorder.

It may be a

  • Painful or otherwise abnormal Miss sensation ( paresthesia ) to a normal stimulus,
  • Reduction of sensory sensitivity ( hypoaesthesia )
  • Hypersensitivity to any external stimuli ( hyperesthesia )

Action. Since, according to ICD -10 to: " Other and unspecified disorders of the skin sensitivity " is, can possibly also Zönästhesien ieS be expected under this Code Section. However, the two terms are not synonymous, but only overlap. Dysesthesia, by definition, include only the sensitivity of disorders of the skin, not the body sensations of the Zönästhesien.
