Dyula people

The Jula are a people in Burkina Faso, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Mali and Guinea, which is also called Dyula, Djoula, Joula, Kong, Kong Dyula, Jula Kong, Malinka, Wangara or Yola.

In Ivory Coast, approximately 253,000 of the total of approximately 599,000 Jula, in Burkina Faso, 245,000 in Mali about 76,000, about 22,000 live in Ghana and Guinea in about 2700. The Jula usually include at Islam. Relationships consist of the people of the Malinke - Jula group.
