Dzongsar Monastery

The Dzongsar Monastery (Tib. rdzong dgon gsar pa) in the district of Dege Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture Garzê in northwest China's Sichuan Province is a Buddhist monastery of the Sakya school. It was founded in 746. Attached to him, is a school of traditional Tibetan medicine. It is the seat of Dzongsar Rinpoche ( Dzongsar Khyentse lineage holder ).
