E. Nelson Bridwell

Edward Nelson Bridwell ( born September 22, 1931 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma; † 23 January 1987) was an American comic book writer. Bridwell was primarily known for his work on the American edition of the satirical comic magazine MAD.

Life and work

Bridwell, who was recorded in most written by him as E. Nelson Bridwell Comics, began working as a freelance writer in the 1960s. His most famous work put Bridwell in the 1960s and 1970s for the humorous magazine Mad ago, for which he produced countless cartoons, comic scenes, and the like Bildergags more.
