Eagle (automobile)

Eagle was a 1987 to 1998 led by the U.S. carmaker Chrysler car brand.

After Chrysler had bought AMC in August 1987, the 1453 AMC / Jeep dealers operating under the new brand name Eagle. They sold as before, the Jeep models, remainders of the AMC Eagle, the resulted even AMC Eagle Premier on the way and in later years, some selected models of the Chrysler Group and Mitsubishi models in more or less unchanged form.

Specifically, these were:

  • Eagle Medallion (1987-1989, based on the Renault 21 )
  • Eagle Premier (1987-1991, based on the Renault 25 )
  • Eagle Summit (1988-1996, based on Mitsubishi Lancer, Mitsubishi Colt and Mitsubishi Space Wagon )
  • Eagle Vista (1989-1992, based on Mitsubishi Lancer, Mitsubishi Colt and Mitsubishi Space Wagon, sold only in Canada)
  • Eagle Talon (1989-1998, based on the Mitsubishi Eclipse and the Plymouth Laser )
  • Eagle Vision (1992-1997, based on the Dodge Intrepid )
  • Eagle 2000 GTX (1992-1993, based on the Mitsubishi Galant, sold only in Canada)

In 1998, the sales of the Jeep models, the brand has been resolved, among the other dealers of the group.

  • On the basis of models of Mitsubishi
  • The only model on the Chrysler Group's platform
