Eagle Summit

The Eagle Summit was a of the U.S. automobile manufacturer Eagle 1988-1996 imported or produced car model of the lower middle class.

At the Summit it was clones of some contemporary Mitsubishi models that were sold by the newly created Chrysler Eagle brand from the autumn of 1988.

Model history

Available from Summit was the 1989 model year as a four-door sedan in base and LX model with 1.5 - liter four-cylinder or 1.6 - liter four-cylinder with double overhead camshafts. Basis for the Summit was Mitsubishi Lancer.

In model year 1990, the model range was fanning on the base versions, DL, LX and ES.

For the model year 1991/92 the four-door Summit was no longer imported from Japan, but made ​​in the Diamond Star plant in Illinois.
