Earl B. Hunt

Earl Busby Hunt ( born January 8, 1933, San Francisco) is an American psychologist. He is professor emeritus at the University of Washington and president of the International Society for Intelligence Research.

Life

Hunt studied psychology and sociology at Stanford University (BA, 1954). From 1954 to 1957 Hunt was the USMC. In 1960 he received his Ph.D. from Yale University. According to professors and teaching positions at UCLA and the University of Sydney Hunt is since 1966 professor at the University of Washington.

Hunt is married and has four children.

Work

Hunt's research interests are cognitive psychology, artificial intelligence and mathematical models in the social and biological sciences.
