Earl Hooker

Earl Hooker (* January 15, 1929 or 1930 in Clarksdale, Mississippi, † April 21, 1970 in Chicago, Illinois), full name is Earl Zebedee Hooker was an American blues musician and a cousin of blues legend John Lee Hooker. at 10 he began playing the guitar and went in 1941 in Chicago in the Lyon and Healy School of Music. The mid- 40s, he took guitar lessons with Robert Nighthawk. In October 1969, he came as part of a tour with the American Folk Blues Festival in Europe. However, this tour seemed to have overworked him physically, as Hooker was admitted after a few performances in November and December 1969 in Chicago to the hospital, where he died due to complications of his tuberculosis. He is buried in Chicago.
