Earl of Ypres

Earl of Ypres is a hereditary British title of nobility ( Peerage of the United Kingdom), which was awarded on June 5, 1922, Field Marshal Sir John French. This had been appointed as Viscount French of Ypres and of High Lake in the County of Roscommon to the peer since January 1, 1916. With the death of the third Earl of Ypres in 1988 went out of the title.
