Earth Party

The Partido da Terra, also o Movimento Partido da Terra (MPT) to German movement, the Party of the earth, is an ecologically oriented, conservative small party in Portugal. History

In 1993, former Minister of Agriculture Gonçalo Ribeiro Telles out from his self- founded Partido Popular Monárquico, he saw no way to enforce its environmental programmaticals in the right-wing conservative party.
