EAS - Hellenic Defence Systems S. A. is a Greek defense and engineering group.

History

The Group was formed in 2004 through the merger of Hellenic Arms Industry SA (EEO ) and founded in 1874 Waffenfabrik Greek Powder & Cartridge Company SA ( Pyrkal ).

The largest shareholder is the Greek State. EAS is one of the companies that will be privatized in connection with the consolidation of public finances.
