East Dunbartonshire (Gaelic Siorrachd Dhun Bhreatainn to ear) is one of 32 Council Areas in Scotland. It is bordered by West Dunbartonshire, Glasgow, Stirling and North Lanarkshire. The county comprises part of the traditional counties of Stirlingshire, Dunbartonshire and Lanarkshire.
