East Siberian Sea

The East Siberian Sea (also called the Arctic Ocean or the northern Arctic Ocean ) one north of Asia lying flat, 936,000 km ² marginal sea of ​​the Arctic Ocean that reaches just 155 meters maximum depth. On average, this is as high as 45 meters.

The East Siberian Sea extends from about 70 to 80 degrees north latitude and from 140 to 180 degrees east longitude and is relatively flat. It refers to, among others, the waters of the rivers and streams Indigirka and Kolyma, which form each quite large estuary. In addition, the currents Sundrun and Alaseja open into the sea.
