East Staffordshire

East Staffordshire is a Borough in the county of Staffordshire in England. Administrative center is the city of Burton -upon -Trent, lives in more than half of the population. Other important towns are Barton -under- Needwood, Tutbury and Uttoxeter.

The district was formed on 1 April 1974 and evolved from the merger of the county borough Burton -upon -Trent, of Uttoxeter Urban District and Rural District Tutbury and Uttoxeter.
