East Suffolk

East Suffolk is an area in the English county of Suffolk, the 1888-1974 even had the status of an administrative county.

As of 1888, administrative counties were introduced, the traditional county of Suffolk in two separate regions, East Suffolk and West Suffolk was divided. However, this was reversed with the municipal reform in 1974.

The administrative headquarters was in Ipswich.
