East Wenatchee is a town in Douglas County in the U.S. state of Washington in the United States and has 5757 inhabitants ( 2000). East Wenatchee is located on the Columbia River in the southwest of Douglas County ( Washington) at an altitude of 217 m. The Columbia forms the border with neighboring Chelan County. Opposite, on the other riverbank lies Wenatchee, the capital of the defined for statistical purposes Wenatchee- East Wenatchee, Washington Metropolitan Statistical Area, which includes both counties.

There are two international partnerships. East Wenatchee since 2001 twin city of Misawa, Japan and the Eastmont High School in the city is a partner school of Andreae -Gymnasium in Herrenberg, with whom she regularly performs a student exchange since 1986.

In the east, within the city limits, the airport Wenatchee, Pangborn Memorial Airport is also called.
