Eastern AA

Eastern AA are a Football Association team from Hong Kong and was established in 1932. She currently plays in the top league in the country of the Hong Kong First Division League.

Club history

The most successful phase of the team was in the late 80s, early 90s. In the 1992/93 season we noted at the time a new record as one the first half of the season winning nine games in a row and it was able to achieve 30 goals. At the end you won the first league title for 37 years. In addition, the team won this season nor the Association Cup and the Senior Shield, and thus had won the three most important competitions in Hong Kong in a season. The championship is defended two more times before the end of the 1996/97 season, the descent into the second league became a reality. With only two wins from 24 games and one was recently increased from the first time in history. Not enough was 2002/ 03 to even the relegation to the third division. Only two years later, in 2005 /06 managed to rise again in the second league. The 2006/07 season ended the team's athletic seen the relegation zone, which would have again the passage in the third league. However, the master of the second league and sports climber Tung Po had his place at the Eastern AA resign after they were invited by the Association of Hong Kong 's first in the league. The return to the top flight once again followed the first title since the descent. The team for the seventh time in 2007/ 08 won the Senior Shield and thus qualified even for the AFC Cup 2009. A master from 1993 to 1996 they played three times in the Asian Club Championship but never got beyond the second round.
