Eastleigh (Nairobi)

Eastleigh is a suburb of Nairobi in Kenya.

Eastleigh is inhabited by Somalis and is strongly influenced by commerce. The neighborhood is called because of the Somali population proportion as "Little Mogadishu ". The Somali merchants are considered the largest payer of business taxes in Nairobi. The infrastructure of the district is largely neglected. To the north lies the Eastleigh's Eastleigh Airport ( Moi Air Base ).
