Easton is a town in Grafton County in the U.S. state of New Hampshire.
Geography
Easton is located at 44 ° 08'46 " north latitude and 71 ° 47'24 " west longitude. The state capital of Concord is located 90 kilometers away in the south. To the east of Easton the White Mountain National Forest begins. The Interstate 93 motorway is only a few kilometers away from the city to the east.
History
End of the 18th century first settlers arrived in the area and took some land in Landaff arable. From this settlement, some easternmost land split off. The place was called " Easton " as a corruption of the English word for east ( "Eastern " ), and having been established in 1876.

In 2009 a population of 287 individuals was determined, which means an increase of 12.1 % over the year 2000. The average age of residents in 2009 was 46.9 years and was relatively high, as the average age of the State of New Hampshire at the same time was 37.1 years.
