Eastpak is an American manufacturer of textile products. Eastpak market sectors including backpacks, purses, garments, bags as well as pencil case.

History

Precursor of the brand Eastpak was ' Eastern Canvas Products '. This company was founded in 1960 by Monte Goldman, to make backpacks for military use. 1976 Goldman began with the production of backpacks and bags for ordinary consumers under the name " Eastpak ".

2000 Eastpak was acquired at that time, approximately 90 million U.S. dollars in sales achieved (at that exchange rate approximately 100 million euros ) of VF Corporation. According to the annual report of VF Corporation Eastpak is the European market leader in backpacks.

Warranty

Eastpak warrants its products ( backpacks, bags, luggage ) - with some exceptions - a guarantee of 30 years.
