Ebba Haslund

Ebba Haslund ( born August 12, 1917 in Seattle, † July 10, 2009 in Oslo) was a Norwegian writer. She was 1971-1975 chairman of the Norwegian Writers' Association (Den norske Forfatterforening ) and has been engaged for voice Riksmål form of the Norwegian language.

Haslund described himself as a conservative and was a prominent opponent of the Iraq war from 2003, and in particular against the Norwegian participation in it.
