Ebba Sparre

Ebba Sparre Lars Dotter (* 1629, † March 19, 1662 ) was a Swedish maid of honor and known as the best friend of Queen Kristina.

Life and work

Ebba was the daughter of Marshall and State Mans Lars Eriksson Sparre and Marta Banér, also granddaughter of Chancellor Erik Larsson Sparre. Her nickname was la belle comtesse (French for: the beautiful Countess ), because she was a famous beauty at the royal court.
