Ebbs is a municipality with 5299 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2013 ) in the district of Kufstein, Tyrol ( Austria ). The municipality is located in the judicial district of Kufstein.

Geography

Ebbs is situated in the Lower Inn Valley near Kufstein, east of the Inn and at the base of Tame Emperor and one of the largest municipalities in the district of Kufstein. Moreover Ebbs has about 5000 inhabitants, is one of the largest villages of the federal state of Tyrol and with an altitude of 475 m, the lowest-lying village of Tyrol. The Inn here forms the border with Bavaria.

History
