Anton Eberhard Thust ( born November 16, 1947 in Frankfurt- Sossenheim ) is a former German boxing promoter.

Life

In 1966 Thust began his career as an official of the Federation of German professional boxer (BDB ). He worked as a timekeeper and Sekundant, and later as a manager, technical manager and promoter. His friend Rudiger Schmidtke he brought to professional boxing, although Schmidtke was never an amateur. Schmidtke 1972 European Champion in the light heavyweight division.
