Eben Alexander (author)

Eben Alexander III ( born December 11, 1953 in Charlotte, North Carolina, United States) is an American neurosurgeon.

He is the author of the bestseller Proof of Heaven: A Neurosurgeon 's Journey into the Afterlife, in which he describes and claims his near-death experience in 2008, his case was clear from that self-aware experiences are not necessarily linked to the function of the cortex and different kind of existence of areas there that are beyond the natural perceptions. In German language the controversial book was published under the title glance into eternity.
