Echague, Isabela

Echague (Filipino: Bayan ng Echague ) is a Philippine municipality in the province of Isabela, Administrative Region II, Cagayan Valley. It has 74 680 inhabitants ( census May 1, 2010 ) living in 64 barangays. It is classified as a church of the first income class in the Philippines and as a partially urbanized.

Echague is located in the south of the province, the community center is located in the valley of Cagayan. The community is located at the foot of the massif of the Sierra Madre. It is located 341 km north of Manila and is accessible via the Marhalika Highway. Your neighboring municipalities are Angadanan, San Guillermo and Alicia in the north, Santiago City and San Isidro in the West, Jones and San Agustin in the south and the east Dinapigue.

In Echague will take place from March 15 to 19, each year, the Bacao Festival held in the community and the Isabela State University was founded as the most important educational institution.
