The Nodding Pincushion sword plant ( Echinodorus cordifolius ) is a marsh plant of the family of plantain plants ( Alismataceae ). The natural range of the plant is in North, Central and South America.

Description

It is a medium to large and vigorous growing, herbaceous perennial plant, the rhizome is formed. The oval to heart-shaped leaves grow out of a rosette. The upper leaf surface is medium in size, occasionally occur red spots.
