The Osiris - sword plant ( Echinodorus osiris ) is a marsh plant of the family of plantain plants ( Alismataceae ). The natural range of this species is southern Brazil.

Description

It is a medium to large and vigorous growing, perennial, herbaceous plant, the rhizomes formed. The elliptic- lanceolate leaves have a wavy leaf margin and grow out of a rosette. The upper leaf surface is olive-green to reddish brown.
