Ecogenetics

The Ökogenetik deals with the genetic modes of reaction of the human organism to physical, chemical and biological environmental factors.

The central hypothesis of Ökogenetik is, the internal biochemical milieu ( in physiology interior environment of French internal milieu ) - ie the genes and the resulting induced metabolic products - an organism determine the response to an applied environmental factor. She even claims to be able to include psychological and social environmental factors themselves.

The method is criticized because it does not provide sufficient methodological approach give for the diagnosis of complex human traits that are determined by the interaction of many genes and environmental factors.
