Ecological Society of America

The Ecological Society of America ( ESA) is to represent the American and Canadian ecologists. The organization was officially founded in 1915 in Columbus, Ohio, and now has its headquarters in Washington DC. President is Scott L. Collins.

The annual meeting of members will be held in the U.S. or Canada. The activity areas of the ESA include not only the science, political interference and environmental education. The organization has over 10,000 members in over 90 countries. ESA moved journals, newsletters and educational materials.
