Ecrasite

Ecrasit is an explosive material that is impervious to moisture, vibration or fire. It consists of a mixture of ammonium nitrate and picric acid was invented in 1888-1889 by Siersch and Kubin. Ecrasit is made ​​of trinitrophenol by neutralizing its saturated solution with ammonia and forms a light yellow waxy solid.
