Eczacıbaşı VitrA

Eczacıbaşı Istanbul is a Turkish volleyball club, whose wife team since the late 1960s, dominated the Turkish League and 28 times champion.

History

Eczacıbaşı Istanbul was founded in 1966, is the main sponsor Eczacıbaşı Holding. First, men Volleyball, Men's Basketball and table tennis were played. Since the early 1990s, Eczacıbaşı but focuses on women's volleyball. Since 1968, women won 28 times the national championship eight times and the Cup. They reached nine times a European Cup final, where in 1999 the European Cup Winners' Cup was won. Since 1999, plays almost continuously in the Champions League and reached the Final Four five times this.
