Ed Farhat

Edward George Farhat (* July 7, 1924 in Lansing, Michigan; † January 18, 2003 in Williamston, Michigan ), better known as The (Original ) Sheik, was an American professional wrestler of Lebanese descent.

Farhat was one of the first wrestlers of the modern wrestling that began targeted various weapons and items in wrestling matches. He is therefore regarded as one of the early pioneers of the later hardcore wrestling genre.

Career
