Ed Gardner

Francis Edward Gardner ( born June 29, 1909 in Astoria, New York, † August 17 1963 in Los Angeles ) was an American actor, writer, screenwriter and director.

Work

Before he began his career in show business in the early 1930s, he worked for the advertising agency J. Walter Thompson. For his services he was immortalized twice on the Walk of Fame in Hollywood.

Gardner died at the age of 54 from liver disease at Good Samaritan Hospital in Los Angeles and was buried in the Chapel Pines Hollywood Forever Cemetery 1m.
