Ed Hamm

Ed Hamm ( Hamm Edward Barton, born April 13, 1906 in Lonoke, Lonoke County, Arkansas, † June 25, 1982 in Albany, Oregon) was an American long jumper and Olympic champion.

On July 7, 1928, he presented with 7.90 m at a world record. Three weeks later, he won at the Olympic Games in Amsterdam Silvio Cator of Haiti, who should replace him in early September as a world record holder.

1930 Hamm was with 7.77 m once again the world's annual Best in the long jump.
