Ed Sanders (actor)

Edward Sanders (born 4 February 1993 East Sussex, England ) is a British actor and singer. He is best known for his role as Toby from the movie Sweeney Todd - The Demon Barber of Fleet Street. He was also involved in the soundtrack of the film.

Sanders, who also plays in the school orchestra and sings in the choir, was chosen for the role of Toby, after he showed up at the National Youth Music Theatre and Tonbridge Arts Festival. He won against hundreds of students of various drama schools throughout the country, thus securing the role. Until 2009 he attended the Ardingly College, followed by two more years at Kensington and Chelsea College, where he studied sound engineering. Today, he works as a marketing manager in the company The 83 Card.
