Edward " Eddie" Louis Kotal ( born September 1, 1902 in Chicago, Illinois, USA; † 27 January 1973), Nickname: The Lawrence Flash, a U.S. American football player was. He played in the National Football League ( NFL) with the Green Bay Packers. Kotal was the first full-time scout in the NFL.

Playing career

Eddie Kotal studied at the University of Illinois at Urbana -Champaign and the Lawrence University, where he played American football. Kotal in 1925 was committed by the Green Bay Packers, who were coached by Curly Lambeau. In 1927, the Packers LaVern Dilweg could bind to the team and in 1929 succeeded Lambeau by the commitment of John McNally strengthen its offense again significantly. Coaching career / Scout

In 1945 he moved to the Cleveland / Los Angeles Rams.
