Eddie Niedzwiecki

Andrzej Edward " Eddie" Niedzwiecki (born 3 May 1959 Bangor ) is a former Welsh football goalkeeper.

Life and career

Niedzwiecki began his career as a 14 -year-old with AFC Wrexham. Overall, the keeper remained for six years at the Welsh club. In the summer of 1983 he moved to Chelsea. In the blues he played until 1988 and with them ascended also in the highest English league. At the age of 28 years, he ended his career due to multiple injuries. International Niedzwiecki played twice for the Welsh national team. After his playing career he was an assistant coach at Chelsea, coach of the reserve team of Arsenal FC and further co- coach of the Welsh team and at Blackburn Rovers.
