Eddie Parker

Edwin " Eddie" Parker ( born December 12, 1900 in Minnesota, USA, † January 20, 1960 in Sherman Oaks, California ) was an American stuntman and actor. Parker played in more than 270 films.

Parker played with many classics, mostly in Western and horror films. His first film appearance was in the short film First in War. After many appearances followed in famous movie classics. Some of the most important films in which he participated, were the man with the death mask, Rear Window ( Alfred Hitchcock ), Tarantula, robots of Horror and Terror creeps through the night.

Parker was also active in over 200 films as a stuntman. So he stood in for, among others, Lewis Wilson in the television series Batman. In some movies Parker took over the stunts himself

He died on January 20, 1960 59 -year-old from a heart attack in the U.S. state of California.
