Eddy Herrera

Eddy Herrera ( born April 30, 1964 in Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic), actually Eddy Jose Herrera de los Rios is a Dominican merengue and Bachatamusiker.

Career

Herrera started early with his musical career by participating in various singing competitions. At the age of 15, he won the Festival de la Voz in his home city of Santiago de Los Caballeros. Herrera spent several semesters studying architecture at the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra, before he went against the wishes of his mother in the band by Wilfrido Vargas. His first big international hit song was " El Jardinero ". From 1984 to 1990 Herrera was active in the group Vargas. In 1990 he began after a signature plate Laben MP Records a solo career. 2008 Herrera undertook a major tour of Venezuela, Curacao, Aruba, Peru, Ecuador, Panama, Costa Rica and the United States in cities such as Houston, New Orleans, Atlanta, New York City, Boston and Los Angeles.
