Edgar Álvarez

Edgar Anthony Álvarez Reyes ( born September 1, 1980 in Puerto Cortes ) is a Honduran football player. The Right Wing is primarily known for its extreme speed.

Association

Álvarez began his career with Club Deportivo Platense, the 2003 season he moved to Uruguayan club Club Atlético Peñarol tradition, where he stayed for two seasons before he was awarded the 2004/05 season at Cagliari Calcio in the Italian Serie A. After a season in Sardinia Álvarez was awarded again, this time at AS Roma, in which he regularly came into use, so that they took the Hondurans firmly under contract. Álvarez was, however, awarded in his three years at the Roma always out to other clubs, including FC Messina, Livorno and AC Pisa. In 2009 he moved to AS Bari. Two years later he joined the league rivals Palermo, however, changed after only one season to Romania to Dinamo Bucharest. Since January 2013 he is without a club.

National

Álvarez already played 52 times for the Honduran national football team, scoring three goals.
