Edgerton Highway

The Edgerton Highway is a major road in the interior of Alaska, which connects to a length of 55 km Chitina on the Copper River with the Richardson Highway in Copper Center. The 94 km long leads from Chitina McCarthy Road on to McCarthy at the foot of the Wrangell Mountains.

The road follows the course of an ancient transport route along the Copper River. It is part of Alaska Route 10

The highway was after Glenn Edgerton, a major in the United States Army and a member of the Alaska Road Commission, named.
